Portal Pedestrian Radiation Monitoring System
Product Overview
The CRMS2000 Portal Pedestrian Radiation Monitoring System is an automatic radiation monitoring system equipped with large-volume high-sensitivity gamma detectors, nuclide identification detector, and neutron detectors. It performs rapid, efficient, and non-destructive radiation screening on passing pedestrians, triggers interlock alarms and outputs alert data. The system can be networked with higher-level management systems to build a remote real-time monitoring information system.
Featuring high sensitivity and low false-alarm rate, the system is deployed at customs border inspection, security screening for major conferences, and other venues to screen pedestrians for carried radioactive materials.
Features
- Real-Time Video Snapshot: Continuous on-site surveillance with automatic image capture for all pedestrians entering the detection zone.
- Multi-Mode Alarm: Local high-brightness visual plus high-decibel audible alarms to distinguish system fault alarms and over-threshold radiation alarms.
- Automatic Background Subtraction: Continuous background monitoring with auto subtraction and automatic update; adjustable update interval.
- Self-Diagnosis: Automatic fault detection with fault indication to guarantee reliable equipment operation.
- User-Friendly Operation: Integrated and modular design with standard interfaces; stable system performance and intuitive HMI.
- Anti-Interference Design: Lead shielding on non-detection surfaces suppresses ambient interference and ensures effective background suppression.
