The HA-BASE-E is a digital MCA with integrated spectrum acquisition, count rate sampling, and automatic nuclide identification. It transmits spectral data, identification results, and other metrics to a host PC via a wired interface for control and configuration.

It functions as both a standalone laboratory spectrometer and an embedded module for nuclide identification systems. Compared to the standard HA-BASE, this model retains full acquisition capabilities while adding onboard spectrum analysis and nuclide identification. It utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE)​ for both communication and power.
