Hand & Foot Surface Contamination Monitor
Product Overview
The RC4000 (RC4000-T) is designed to screen α/β surface contamination on the hands, feet, and clothing of personnel exiting radioactive controlled areas. Integrating large-area dual-scintillator detectors, the unit ensures rapid and reliable monitoring. Multiple position sensors standardize personnel stance, while a 10-inch touchscreen and voice prompts guide users and display results in real time.
The system integrates a centralized personnel information management system built on a relational database architecture, creating a strong link between measurement records and personal identity. It supports dual-mode identification: manual lookup via the touchscreen or automatic IC/ID card recognition (with an optional external card reader). This person-data binding functionality fully complies with the IAEA GSG-7 guidance regarding the traceability of individual radiation monitoring records.
Applications
Equipped with a reserved DO interlock interface, the monitor can be linked with turnstiles and barrier gates. It is primarily deployed at access points of nuclear power plants, radiopharmaceutical facilities, radioactive laboratories, nuclear fuel production sites, and radioactive waste treatment facilities.

- Remote Data Management: Supports customizable remote data transmission and centralized data management.
- Easy Decontamination: Polished stainless steel detector surfaces resist contamination and facilitate quick cleaning.
- Mobile & Foldable Design: Bottom-mounted casters allow easy relocation; foldable structure simplifies transportation and on-site installation.
- Bilingual Interface: One-click switching between Chinese and English GUI.
