Thyroid & Lung Organ Counter
Product Overview
The HA4700 Thyroid & Lung Organ Counter comprises thyroid detectors, lung detectors, gamma spectrum analysis software, internal dose assessment software, optional source-free efficiency calibration software, a computer, and an integrated shielded measuring chair. It simultaneously quantifies radionuclide activity in the human thyroid and lungs, calculating internal exposure doses based on the measurement results.
Applications
Designed for on-site organ radioactivity screening in nuclear emergency response, nuclear power plants, spent fuel reprocessing facilities, and special nuclear material processing sites. Also deployed as emergency equipment for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

- Native Chinese Software: Full Chinese interface for spectrum analysis and internal dose evaluation.
- Advanced Spectral Analysis: Automatic spectrum stabilization, energy calibration, peak searching, multiplet analysis, activity calculation, and measurement uncertainty analysis.
- Flexible Control: Adjustable gain and high voltage; real-time display of live time, real time, and discriminator threshold.
- Extensible Nuclide Library: Preloaded standard radionuclide library with support for user-defined nuclides.
- Source-Free Efficiency Calibration: Built-in algorithm for self-calibration of gamma detection efficiency without standard sources.
- Comprehensive Dose Calculation: Estimates internal organ doses considering nuclide type, metabolic half-life, age, and specific organ/tissue parameters.
- Automated Reporting: Auto-generates test reports with support for external printing.
- Ergonomic Design: Chair-type measurement station with adjustable height and detection angle for subject comfort.
